The time takes up to 14 days depending on your mailbox size.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note<\/strong>: Make sure that your account license is not about to expire or else you will lose your backup along with the account.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Shortfalls in this method<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>User cannot take a backup before 72 hours<\/li>\n<li>Once you start the process then you cannot stop the process.<\/li>\n<li>Does not have any filter or folder-choosing option<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Manual_Method_2_Use_Google_Takeout_to_save_Gsuite_backup_in_the_local_drive\"><\/span><strong>Manual Method 2: Use Google Takeout to save Gsuite backup in the local drive<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>If you are not completely familiar with the name Google Takeout, then know that it is a free utility that provides backup of almost all Google products. Therefore, users can also take its help to backup Google Workspace messages or emails.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Search <strong>Google Takeout<\/strong> in the browser and <strong>open<\/strong> it.<\/li>\n<li>If it shows a <strong>login<\/strong> window then use the credentials of Google Workspace admin.<\/li>\n<li>In the takeout pane, <strong>deselect all the options<\/strong> then <strong>choose your desired option<\/strong> for backup.<\/li>\n<li>After that <strong>scroll down<\/strong> and click on <strong>Next step<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Now choose <strong>file type<\/strong>, <strong>frequency<\/strong> and <strong>destination<\/strong> as per your requirement then hit on create <strong>export<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n<li>It will show the progress window of <strong>exporting Google Workspace emails<\/strong>. You will get the link to download Gsuite emails in your mailbox after some time.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Here is the same drawback, you cannot get the link instantly.
